ITJ Achieves ISO/IEC 27001:2022 Certification, Strengthening Commitment to Information Security and Client Trust

ITJ is now ISO 270001 certified

San Diego, April 10, 2025 – ITJ is proud to announce that it has achieved ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification for its Information Security Management System (ISMS). This international standard validates ITJ’s comprehensive approach to managing and protecting sensitive information, reinforcing its commitment to clients across fast-growing and high-value sectors—particularly Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Medical Devices, and Pharma.

The certification covers services for providing specialized talent and the creation of Software Centers of Excellence, supported by the organization’s internal and Engineering department processes. The assessment was conducted based on the controls defined in ITJ’s Statement of Applicability, Version V2, dated February 5, 2025.

“Security has always been foundational to our work,” said Maritza Diaz, CEO of ITJ. “This certification is a reflection of the discipline, integrity, and deep care our team puts into every step of our process. It also signals to our clients—especially those in Life Sciences—that their data and innovation are protected by globally recognized standards.”

ISO/IEC 27001:2022 is one of the most respected international standards for information security management. It provides a systematic approach to managing sensitive information and ensuring it remains secure—something increasingly vital in today’s highly regulated, digital-first world.

This milestone marks a major step in ITJ’s ongoing mission to be a trusted partner in building the finest software engineering teams in the Americas. As the company continues to support organizations striving to improve people’s lives, this certification ensures clients and partners can do so with confidence in the security of their operations.
